TEHNICHI AUDIO was founded in 1985 by Simon Teh, who has lived his life passionately pursuing ways to bring music to life in hostile environments. Reflections, standing waves, resonance and uneven/untreated surfaces in auto and home environment can cause frequency cancellations and inaccurate sound reproductions. With Simon Teh’s continuous quest for perfection in audio reproduction Tehnichi Audio has created audio and music that is unsurpassed.
HISTORY
In the early 60’s, Simon Teh was an avid hobbyist of the audio world, which he later turned into a business. His philosophy, unchanged till today, is to STRIVE FOR THE BEST. A motto that has left many listeners and performances unmatched.
Simon has spent the last 30 years of his life, either in a car or home audio space. Constantly installing, tuning & auditioning car or home audiophile systems. It is from here that he discovered a number of essential parameters to achieving the perfect sound – acoustics, electronics, right pairing of products and fine tuning.
This has led to where TEHNICHI is today, a premium bespoke installer of fine car and home audio products and also the birth of SIMONTE, a diverse range of products that assist in bringing out the best in any system.
Combined, we are able to achieve what was once impossible in systems of all sizes.
TEHNICHI AUDIO
THROUGH THE YEARS
1989
Designed and installed the first 32″ subwoofer, 10pcs 10″ woofers, 12pcs 6″ midbass and 16pcs tweeters in a showcar for a car exhibition in Malaysia.
1990-1994
Started building bandpass, seal and vented speaker boxes.
1995
Designed and installed show car for Blade Audio in Canada for Winter CES show in Las Vegas.
1996
Designed and built sound room for private audiophile (equipment worth over US 250,000-00).
1997-2000
Designed and installed system worth US 25,000.
2003-2004
Designed and installed sound system for Roadshows.
2005
Tehnichi’s 20th anniversary.
2006-present
Started building system with Phass Audio products ( for the audiophiles)
2010
Launch of Simonte products
2012
Installation of Simonte Legato Link at Ferrari Beijing
2015
Designed & built sound system complete with architectural acoustics in an auditorium
